I miss the launch and Halloween(AGAIN)...

OK, I have to share my pain with you guys. I pre-ordered Nightfall from Best Buy. Like an idiot, I decided to have it mailed to me at first. Monday morning, I realized I'm not gonna get the game mailed on time. So I e-mailed Best Buy asking them to change my order to in store pick up (which they expressly say you can do on their web-site). After 3 days of waiting for a responce, I get an e-mail this afternoon from Best Buy shipping saying that they just shipped my copy. Odd because that is exactly what I asked them NOT to do.

I finally recieved a reply from customer service stating that they're sorry but they have already shipped my copy and the can't change the delivery method any more. I don't know if they wanted to add insult to injury, but the time stamp on the e-mail from customer service? 12:01 am on 10/27/2006; i.e. the exact minute Nightfall was officially live. Needless to say I will not be patronaging their fine establishment in the near future.

So while I'm waiting, kill some margonites for poor Tobias. If a Best Buy in Phoenix gets blown up tomorrow, know that it isn't Al Qaeda.

Im still waiting on the wonderful british postal service to deliver my copy to my house... which knowing how they usually are means it could be any time in the next 5 hours lol.

And to rub insult to injury my damn gaming pc has died a miserable death, so i am left with my old p4 and ti4600 gfx card to play nf on

For those concerned they may miss Halloween. It lasts through Tuesday, Halloween. The King won't appear until that day, and then every two hours he will make an appearance somewhere.
